Cadets and Seniors from the St. Paul Squadron volunteered at Feed My Starving Children March 18th from 7:30 to 9:30pm. We had a great time and a wonderful turn-out. We caravanned (in...oh so, true to Lemming form) over to the Eagan packing site. Our Cadets immediately volunteered for the heavy lifting, packing pallets and replenishing duty of the warehouse. The Seniors and Pre-Cadet Gretchen Leif manned one of the stations and were able to fill about 6 boxes of meals headed for Haiti. Our Pre-Cadet kept the Seniors on their collective toes, and was not afraid to crack the whip if we slowed our pace, or even endeavored in pleasant conversation. Other Senior Members stayed very busy producing the labels that were affixed to the meals. The Squadron was part of a crew of at least 50 people volunteering that night. Thank you to all the Cadets and Senior Members that served those much, much less fortunate than ourselves. And, a big thank you to the parents that came out to pick their Cadets up in Eagan.
