How do our Cadets shine? They really lit the banquet room with their stellar service to the members and their guests at the 2nd Annual St. Paul Composite Squadron Banquet.
They jumped right in to help set the room up, set all the tables, greet arriving guests, and serve punch and coffee. The meal was served by the Cadets turned waiters. They cleared the tables, served the cake, did the dishes and cleaned up the room.
These Cadets demonstrated the 'Service' core value of Civil Air Patrol impeccably. Never a complaint uttered, only, "what should we do next?".
It was truely a pleasure to work with this catering team, most of whom have never done anything like this before. We Senior Members could not have done the meal without their help. They brought that ever present Cadet enthusiasm and energy that carried us through the evening. What a joy and privilage to work with these young people. They made the night a glowing success.
Those Cadets present were: Pahr, Tunnel, Sebesta, Hannigan, Neimann, Astin, and Johnson, and special thanks to C/Lt. DeMuse for helping arrange the food and delivering that tasty meal. It was delicious.
Thank you again to these Cadets and to their parents. You have given our Squadron great people to work with.
Amy Pahr, 1Lt - DCFC
St. Paul Composite Squadron
I would like to thank cadets Pahr, C. Tunell, Sebesta, Johnson, Astin, Hannigan and Niemann for their excellent job at the Squadron Banquet Saturday night. They served everyone their food and beverages and helped with the clean up. They were a huge help to Lt Pahr and myself. Thank You.
Carrie Niemann
Lets not forget to thank Lt's Pahr and Niemann for their excellent lemming herding skills at the banquet! I'd also like to thank Lt Markegard for being likeable enough to get the fire department's permission to use their facility and Lt Leif for the excellent entertainment and everyone else who helped make the banquet a huge success!
