Thanks for the fun,
I would like to thank our Aerospace Officer, Lt. Keith Sebesta for presenting the AE Fly-Off event for the Cadets this evening.
The cadets spent the night building rubber band rockets, then launched them for distance and accuracy points.
They also practiced simulated landings of fighter jets onto flight decks of air craft carriers.
Fun was had by all as they moved around the gym in their groups.
Thanks also goes to Captains Leif and Johnson, Lieutenants Neimann
and Sommer and Miss. Johnson for serving as recording judges at each
skill station.
None of this can happen for the cadets without the continued encouragement and support of our dedicated Senior Members.
Congratulations to cadets Schmidt, Tunell, Hannigan, Wondra and Johnson who were recognized for outstanding achievements.
This event puts the cadets on course to achieving the Award of Aerospace Excellence.
Again, thank you Lt. Sebesta for your efforts!
Semper Vigilant,
Amy Pahr 1Lt, CAP
